At first, i was supposed to stay behind with some of my "kids" who are not going to the excursion to the Chinese garden. I admit i felt left out as i've been going with my kids from my N1 class in the past few excursion. Being the worrier i am, i couldn't help worrying abt my kids who signed up to go. But due to shorthandedness, i was assigned to go at the very last minute ! I was elated !
It turns out that Chinese garden is a big disappointment. There wasn't much things to see for me & the children. Mien kept asking to see the turtles which were practically non-existant save for 2 tiny ones in the pond. Chinese garden was indeed picturesque and one can be brought back to the times of the Tang dyansty or ancient Chinese times. Becos there wasn't much things to see, it wasn't a rush for the children except for the rush for picnic time !
