Went to GDOP (global day of prayer). Really thankful to God for providing the good weather though it was humid. I could handle as the Chinese saying goes... xin1 jing4 zi4 ran2 liang...
Skipped dinner as the buses left the church around 5.15 p.m to reach the stadium juz by 6p.m or so.
The experience was really humbling for Christian Singaporeans as 2 sides of the leaders publicly 'humble' themselves to apologize to each other. As to whether it's real, only He knows. They washed each other's feet as an act of humility as seen in how Mary washed the feet of Jesus. I'm not trying to be preachy here but having to wash one's feet is not easy let alone to put asie one's pride.
Well, this morning was a drowsy & sleepy one for me as i slept at around 12+ due to the GDOP event ending at 10p.m the night before. The day was smooth-sailing for me save for tantrums from the 2 clever kids in my N1 class, haha!
