I want to learn guitar !!!

I went to Esplanade supposedly to meet my fren WJ & ended up in Esplanade shop, Maestro Guitars which sells guitars & pianos & books. Then i saw the sign which says "$50 per month" (cheap?) then i saw a nice blue classical guitar which costs only $68 ! It took all my will not to buy that as its so CHEAP. Whats's the point of buying when i can't even play the instrument itself ?

Previously i didn't get to learn becos my dad refused to let me learn due to reasons like impracticality, fingers get callused & hard etc. But i don't mind, you see... So i signed up for acoustic guitar but was put on waiting list till a class is formed for my requested time slot on Sunday.

Then i turned around & saw my fren Eug working at one of the Esplanade shops. I chatted with him for a while before i set off to do what i wanted to do: borrow music books from library@Esplanade. Well, after borrowing the books i wanted, i saw Jon at S'pore Art Cafe & i watched a guitar performance there. Not bad for an amateur. It was similiar to the a cappella open mic as in the performing & jamming style. Quite cool !

Corrine May concert sounds good but her concert tix is really ex !!! But she's really good & maybe i can pick up a tip or 2 from her music... like Gordon did. Anw Gordon's debut song "6 o'clock" from Oct 13 blue Moo was inspired by her & a real good try with a nice tune though melancholic lyrics. Anw this song is short of a bridge that will sound hopeful. Yeah, Gordon, jia you, i'm cheering you here & be behind U, yippeee !! I like Goth:23 a depressing sounding tune inspired by Evanescence but the song is really strong in tight harmony. It's definitely unusual of Budak music. Budak really wow me even more.... I think Budak really outdid themselves le, muahaha...

Anw i'm getting my hands flexed to write a cappella scores again... this time for Kent Ridge A Cappella [KRA]from NUS. I told Joel (my church fren who happens to be in KRA as well) that i can let them try my transcribed scores, "Say Goodbye" - Toxic Audio & "Budak's "Yi Bei Cha".
Anyway i've been meaning to have them sung & so far nobody had sung my pieces yet. Really need to work on more songs....
