Mayday with a dash of Milo Peng

Still suffering from the after effect of being too"high" on Mayday music and holiday (forgive the pun), Yes, it's the month of May ! Yeah, juz being crappy.

Soooo happy that I was able to score the BEST seat during Mayday concert on 26 Apr. Terrific band with terrific music by my fave band - Wu Yue Tian (a.k.a May Day). Even my friend regretted not getting the most ex seating. I finally get the most ex and best seat - 4 rows center from the stage !

This time the lucky fans were the ones sitting on the side as each Mayday member ran on a platform, which was a smaller version than was in their previous concert in Taiwan. But obviously Mayday were really grateful for SG fans' support. Must be that reason that they have the same concept in Singapore. A real sold-out concert ! Masa's bday was also celebrated and the band gave an outstanding performance despite playing too hard the night b4.

I was amused when Mayday still stayed behind to cheer the fans on with the dance version of "Li Kai Di Qiu Biao Mian". They were like still dancing on stage as though that they were celebrating that SG was the FIRST stop of their world tour.

Now this 2 weeks after thr concert, i have this band music fetish and so... i started to listen to Mi Lu Bing (a pun after SG fave kopitiam drink = Milo Peng/iced Milo). They were the Superband champions of 2006 and really have potential. I agree with one reviewer that the record co was too commercialised and made the album too "safe" for listening. I was darn impressed by their 1st single, "Tears " "Lei" which had a tinge of U2 (obviously their fave band). Got other nice sounding tunes like "Bai Wan Bao" (main theme of Mediacorp drama of the same title) and "Adjust" "Shi Ying" (now playing on my blog for the time being till another come up...)
