the result of not doing work & lazing for 3 straight days... CNY visitation lor !
On the eve of CNY eve, i went for a quick bite with my CG @ Changing Appetites. Boy, did i ever say that i had a bad eating encounter there? I didn't ? Ok, juz dun eva EAT e choc fondue there. Super diluted like water & taste horrid ! Even the food there (according to my super-sensitive tastebuds) is not too great ! Oh, i had cheesy mussels which i thought will taste better if they're cooked in wine... The eatery is also lacking in variety esp for snacks.
After which we went to River Hongbao which we felt that it was rather boring. Ah, i saw this Thai food stall which sold those yumilicious Thai tomyam soup, food & desserts & even those colourful looking sweets ! Shld have eaten there instead ! Maybe the true festive spirit hadn't set in there yet... howeva, it's a diff matter in Chinatown. Crowded but at least i can move on my own without me moving with the help of ppl pushing, haha ! Ah, really regret that i din buy the colorful malt candy @ Chinatown...

My visiting rounds took 3 days though actually it can be squeezed in 2 ... Felt funny dat my newly wedded cousin who's juz 2 or 3 years older than me who gave me an ang bao ! Haiz, my ang bao collection is pretty much the same & i've got a nice number, keke ! Ystd i had a reunion lunch with my family @ Riverview hotel minus my 2nd sis who went "pat-tawing" with her frens. After which i went too, to my CGL's hse for a 2nd round of food/steamboat. Almost killed me with a bloated tummy by the time i reached home... Hey, fun leh !
